A retreat

with you in mind

The Art of Grief Retreat is a Christ-Centered healing retreat in the mountains of Tennessee.

Limited to just 12 attendees, come rest, explore creative tools, and dig in deeper to healing.

Get away

to nature and focus

Hear from three guest speakers and attend hands-on stained glass workshops.

During this time you will learn critical healing skills in dealing with grief and loss, and create a one-of-a-kind stained glass hanging artpiece.

Rest

in community

Experience the intimacy of a small community in a mountain retreat setting, March 7 - 10th, 2024.

Meals and lodging are provided Thursday evening through Sunday morning.

Joy in the journey

We’ve heard there are stages to grief...

Ever wonder what they are?

Not everyone grieves the same...

Learn about the value of community in healing.

It’s natural to avoid the process...

We’ve lightened the load by adding beauty and fun to the conversation.

The Heart of Grief

Retreat Facilitator & Art Instructor

I’ve worked with glass since 1985 and often thought about the correlation between

people and glass. We are beautiful and colorful, but we can be broken and fragile too.

When Cherie Evans shared with me that God put it on her heart to start a grief ministry,

I immediately knew this was something I could be involved with. It felt like my life’s work as a glass artist found its purpose.

This retreat is the culmination of thoughts on the stained glass process that reflects

us as people going from brokenness to beauty and the wisdom of Christ following counselors.

Our time together includes 6 hours of stained glass instruction in which we will be

creating something lovely!
